Question about Shifting

When my dad rides my quad be does not use the clutch to go up through the gears when drag racing. I was wondering if this is bad? I can't seem to shift fast enough with my new 416 kit.... Thanks for the help

it's okay...as long as you dont shift down....usually if its not supposed to go up into gear it wont if you arent using the clutch.

To consistently shift without the clutch up or down, you almost always have to let off the gas.

When using the clutch fast you can stay in the gas & keep the revs up.

Having said that, everybody shifts different & may just be faster b/c that is what they are used to.
