btw it dont have that cheap air filter on it anymore i do believe it is a k&n filter, also for those who asked is ti ls5 or ls6 (i think those numbers are right) its neither it was just a 454 crate engine :)

nice car dude! what year? looks like a '68 to mee but I'm not a expert on them. my dad haD a sweet 68 chevelle with a 396 but i wasnt around then. any whoo nice ride get more pics some time soon.:eek2:

I had a 68 Chevelle when I was in high school. It had a350, Weiand Tarantual manifold, Z28 Cam, 2.02 heads, 11:1 pistons, headers, 4 Speed manual, and 5.38 rear gears. I had some of the best times of my life in that car. Won almost every street race as well.

yeah its a 70. you can tell cuz the 70's have the vee lookin front end. they had that from 70-72.

nice car mang:D my dad had a 69 chevelle with a big block in her' fast as a mutha****a.. too abd we had to sell it to move into my new house :rolleyes:

put a 427 big block in there and it will be the shiznee

Why would you take the 454 out of it for a 427? Maybe it if was a ZL1 427, but not for an L88.

Sweet car though. I like the color.

I am absolutely positive about the gearing. I could put it in 4th gear, and if I let the clutch out slow, it would go. Yeah, top speed was not much, I could not take it out on the highway, but, 0 to 60 OMG!!!

My father had 6.10s in his Nova when he was younger.. For a little while. He got the rear end from a friend, thrw it in and drove around town. 18" high wheelies leaving White Castle :D

That is some real low gearing. I had richmond race gears in my Chevelle. I was watching speed vision awhile back and the monster trucks are running gears in the 12:1 range! WHOA
