I have a set of Ohlin front shocks off of a 2002 cannondale speed. They are in great condition. They come with 400ex bushings and cannondale bushings.

They will fit a 400ex and a Cannondale, and maybe other bikes, Im not quite sure.

$250 obo.

Also, Im looking for Elka, Axis, or possibly Works shocks for my 400ex.

what is the length eye to eye?
May be interested.
Do you know what weight they are setup for?
What kind of adjustment?

Also got any pic's?

Thanks, Ken

The shocks are around 16.5" from center eye hole to center eye hole.

They are setup for a stock Cannondale speed. Im not sure of the the exact valving. These shocks are excellent for XC, and can be revalved a little stiffer to make an awesome MX setup.

These shocks can also be made into dual rates with rezzies.
They are preload adjustable and have progressivly wound springs.

buddha440ex,

Tell me a little bit more about the shocks.
What are they valved for?
How old are they?
Rezzies?
Are they setup for stock A-arms?
Can I get some pics?

I might be interested.

I will need your E-mails to send the pics.

I need to measure the length on my arms.
I am building a 250-r with extended arms but I think the shocks might be too long.
I thought I measured 15 1/2 for mine. I will check again.

Thanks, Ken

I believe shocks for stock arms are aound 16". If you are getting extended I believe that they would need to be longer. Im not quite sure tho. You might want to check with a shock expert to get the shaft measurement you need. These shocks will need to be redone it they are for extended.

I'm just going by what the PO told me.
He bought the quad already built and didn't have much history on it
I've been in to bikes for years but I'm pretty new to quads
I know when I put the quad in the back of my trailer, it just fit between the rails rubbing each side and the rails measure 4 ft apart.
I have a spent pair of works shocks on there and they measure around 15 1/2 inches and I don't think there was any more travel on the front end.
I will check in the next couple days.
I am interested if I could make them fit.

Ok.

Also, are you willing to see the works? I might take them depending on how bad there.

The works need to be fully rebuilt. Between $200 and $250 from their shop.
They look pretty bad. rust on the housing and broken springs.
I'm sure they would be able to build them nicely though.

I wanted to let you know why I said that I would check in the next couple days instead of tonight.
My GFs car is not running and that is a first priority in her books!
I hate computer controlled vehicles. So far I am $200.00 into it and still sits there. I pull the codes off it and change what it says and nothing happens.
I think it may be as simple as a fuel pump.
We'll see tonight!

I'll try to measure tonight if all goes well.

I finally had a chance to measure and the shocks are too long.
I will just send my works in to get built.

Good Luck.
