Now days when a kid dreams of a Honda 50 this is what they dream about........good what we would have gave for one of these:D :D http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid93/pf7182b5a4eab4f36d34d041cf4bb1794/fa496cee.jpg

The one on top is a 1974 and they wanted 750.00 for it...

Max400, that's a 69-71 Z50. 68's didn't have the big back light and in 72 they redesigned it, added some back shocks and called it a mini trail. Actually looking back, I had a 72. The ones I had and liked the most were the early XR75....and then the Elsinore 125. Memories! Here's a good link with pictures and info. http://www.hondatrailbikes.com

I had my years wrong, I was going by what the ad in the cycle trader said:o

Thanks for the web link.........My God that takes ya back don't it. those bikes look so primative now, but back then they we're the shizzle of the nizzle!!! I'm using a little snoop lingo so the young ones will know that I meant they were cool:devil: !!!!

God, when a friend of mine got one of these my jaw hit the floor, I thought that this was the coolest thing ever...........http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid93/pbc1b51ff1ce420c56af869de0621a52f/fa470e35.jpg This was a full sized bike that was shrunk down.........God that takes me back!

Then my brother got one of these and used to take it out riding when he wasn't around cause I was to young to drive on the street.....he still dosn't know that I knew the combination to the lock he kept it locked up with.http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid93/p4141bb665dfb41e34d28f2d8eff7d250/fa470e32.jpg he had the 250....

The first bike I ever rode was an XR75.Went straight through a sticker bush and into the side of my house. Then I got right back on it and went right up the road. With no more troubles.

Except mine was red.Not silver.

Mini trails are cool.My dad used to tell me story's about them. And my buddies had 2 70's.

Yeah those engine's are the same.Good little motors.
