I used regular Hammerite Rust Cap, it has kind of a crackle finnish. Holding up fine. I can smell it when it is real hot though.

Nope, still waiting on the digital camera to get here:(

I'm sure the high temp paint will work great on the heat shield.

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH PAINT AND EVEN THE HIGH TEMP PAINT IS THAT AS IT GETS HOT IT SOFTENS. (oops caps)

this can lead to a crappy looking shield if you happen to rub your riding gear on it much less what your pants can end up looking like. some people have had decent luck tho and its easy enough to redo or touch up.

i powdercoat 4 or 5 shields a week. i only charge $15 a piece (i saw in that linked thread i used to charge $25 but i can do them in less then 30 minutes so i lowered the cost.

this one is my best by far and to date i havent been able to duplicate it:mad: lmfao

Yep, PC it. That paint will work but will rub off. PC will hold way better. Here is a fade I did. I hate it but the guy I did it for just absolutly loves it. I would have choosen something other than blue:blah:
