racing encounter with a fleet of yamiha yfz450s!

i went racing this weeknd in jackson indoor track. and it was like a damn yamiha show everyone had them. it was just me and justin strickland brian foltz and a few others that didnt have them.they are pretty fast especially off the whole shot.but foltz and strickland held there own against them there both pretty good riders.s0o i think im gonna say screw the wait on get me a yamiha. they are pretty fast i rode my freind nathan delabars and like it alot. it is really quick compared to the ol 400. and i think it is alot more comfortable.

hey man you forgot me,I was battling strickland the whole time..an foltz... we went back an forth I went from 2nd to 3rd back to 3rd an to 4th then to 2nd an back to 4th lol we left the whole pack of ppl

I really don't think it's what kind of quad you buy, but I think I would wait for the Honda if I had chance to. I seen my brother which was on a worn out, stock 400ex take second place at a mid-south series race in Kentucky against some top of the line quads like 250r's, yfz's,canon's,suzuki's in the B class.

I think the raptor seat and banshee way more comfortable than the 400ex seat. The yfz seat is pretty hard but I thought the 400ex was kinda hard aswell.

i like the 400ex seat. but the yfz,z400 is alot skinnier and i like that. gncc25 true on that one. i have seen worn out hondas outrun new yamiha cuase of the rider. but its nice to have a new quad lol. i dont kn0 my dad likes the honda to but i think im gonna go ahead and get the new yamiha i might just wait for the honda come out and see what really happens with it. i wish they would go ahead and realese it.

I can say you won't be disapointed if you buy the yamaha. but The honda is right around the corner for being release. I would wait. The race seasons over so there shouldn't be any real rush.
I bought the yfz because I couldn't wait, I need something new and the yfz was looking real good. I'm completely happy with it. And this coming from a total honda guy.
