Pep steering Damper

Just iinstalled 2 pep dampers on our quads but one of the dampers has two grease zerks and one doesnt they were both supposed to be the same other than that they look the same any one know why they are different?

PEP has a Old Damper and a New Damper. The Old Damper is not Rebuildable like the New Damper is. Maybe you got a Old Damper and a New Damper.

Thats what I was thinking . I paid for two rebuildable ones do you guys know any site that might show any picts of these dampers and tech info

i just got a pep 2 weeks ago and it has a greezzze zerk!

The new one and the old one look diff. the new one is one long shaft that's the same size all along it. the old one had an end that was bigger. looks kinda like a bottle witha long neck.

Hmmm.... this is really odd because I have the new rebuildable style and it doesn't have a grease zerk on it..? Maybe the rebuildable pep damper with the grease zerk on it is the newest version of the rebuildables? I got my damper in july so maybe they changed the design of the rebuildables and you got a new and old version of the rebuildable dampers because the old version of the pep damper and the new rebuildable ones look completely different, heres a pic of mine,

Thanks for the pict 400exRacerX both of ours look just like yours so they are rebuildable I guess they must have just added the grease zerks to the new model Thanks guys for a while I thought I got ripped off

mine looks like that too but it has a zerk near the top ball joint.

Its about time they decided to put a zerk fitting on that ball joint near the top of it. I dont know about you guys, but mine can be very noisy at times. I just spray some lube up there before I ride it....

i got mine in sept. and mine has a zerk on both ends. i friend got one last month and his didn't.
