Yes I know I need a helmet, I just haven't had a chance to get one yet but I am plenty old enough to know the possible consequences of my actions and make my own decisions!:rolleyes:

4. Feel free to attach ATV related pictures to you posts. Pictures of riders without helmets will be deleted - riding without a helmet is very dangerous and is an activity strongly comdemned by EXriders.

we do know how to make someone feel welcome just not when that person do not follow the rules and does not wear a helment when riding


oh BTW I ALWAYS have my helment on whenver I ride my quad even if it is just up the driveway

Hey they sell them where you probably got your quad unless you bought it used, alot of dealers throw a helmet in if ya don'thave one?????????????? YES we have rode w/o helmets, wish I could find the pic of my hubby from NOT wearing a helmet for "just a minute" he ended up w/ a big ol gash on his forehead & now nice scar:o & that was in the sand & he didn't even wipe out that bad but a peckerpole tree branch came up & nailed him ANYWAY BLAH BLAH BLAH I know:rolleyes: have fun & ride safe:o

man y dont everyone chill out on the helment thing this is the only forum i ever been on were people complain, ,and 90% of the people who do are such hipocrits it aint even funny i bet they dont were there helment except were its required at, i aint gona lie i only wre mine on mx tracks and if you ever come to louisiana and go ridin somwere wre they are not required nobody will have them except lil kids

Personally I don't think I am I hipocrit because I always have my helment on whenever I am on my quad unless I am warming or just taking it out of the shop. Also don't you think that a helmet is the most important piece of riding gear? I don't think you could count how many lives helmets have saved

im sorry if you htought it was directed right at you, it wasnt, but all these people that always fus about that there is no way you all were u helments i mean give me a break, come ride down here in the summer time when its 110 degrees, see hwo long your lid stays on but watever everyone has there opinions and eveyrone knows mine :D

I've ridden in about 90+ Degree weather, out on the sand dunes...and i actually had sweat running down my face with my helmet on and my helmet was bascially soaked but i kept it on!

i know you guys are concernd about others about wearing gear but dont beat them down over it. you cannot MAKE this guy wear a helmet. think of alllllllllll the people who ride EVERYYYYYYYY day WITHOUTTTTTTTTT a helemt! not much you can do...

helmets are the most important piece of safety equipment but ill admit that whenever im riding my utility quad 98% of the time i dont wear a helmet call me stupid or whatever and it may be but i just dont feel the need to wear one on that. but when i ride my bikes i always have one on

actually i took a class and they said boots are most important, even though i agree helment is, i never wear one on quads but when i had my bike i always did

you know lou, we requested a new mod be put up in this forum, and the other mods just ignored us. i talked to pappy about it and he said the normal mods come here and check up but you can tell from this thread and others that they don't check too close. whatever i guess, their the ones runnin the show.

well since this is a never ending battle, i quit you win, but no matter wat anyone says i will never wear my helment to ride around my house and trails and stuff, sure i do to ride mx, or try new jumps and stuff, but thats it period, call me stupid if you want or call my parents stupid if you want its just how i grew up, i never evne owned a helment until i was 16 and bought it my self
