WD-40 won't help too much. I would try PB blaster.:macho

how long would it take for the PB blaster to come into effect?

im seriously just about to cut the hubs off the axle

It depends on how stuck the hubs are. I'd soak it really well and let it sit for 20 min or more. If that doesn't work. Just keep spraying it and let it soak overnight. The PB blaster usually does the job though. Just take your time and be patient. You'll get it!

Whatever you do don't cut the hubs. If anything, try cutting the nut instead.

LOL!

Yeah I would use castration as a last resort. I'm thinking a Dremel tool would work. I'm not sure if you could get a nut splitter in there.

find someone with an impact gun...it will break em loose in no time.

get a pipe wrench and put it on th underside, put a 3-4 foot pole on it, and pull up. works every time.

If you have a torch heat the nuts up really good and it will come right off. A propaine torch may or may not be enough. You will probably need a cutting torch.

Like everyone said spray it down with PB blaster and let it soak. Try with your ratchet after twenty minutes, if that doesn't work soak it and let it set overnight. If you have an impact that would zip them off in no time at all. You can try heat (torch) but this will bake the finish off if you get it to hot. If it was me, I would just haul your quad to an automotive shop, ask a mechanic to zip them off with an impact and offer him 10 bucks or so for his effort. Way cheaper than torching perfectly good hubs off.

throw it away and get a polaris :o , everything comes apart by itself:blah:

if it's cold there, have you tried heating it up? like with a torch?

Nuh uh. My bike never falls apart.
Well, except for that one hose that we just can't find where it came off of. LOL
