I'm getting a 400ex, and I just wanted to know if the red 400ex's plastics fade after a while because i've noticed some people with faded plastics. I plan to take care and wax the plastics, but even with this, will they still fade? Thanx a lot.

The plastics don't really fade enough to notice unless you are comparing them to a brand new 400ex. The thing that fades on the 400ex is the red seat. It kind of turns orange over time.

Just don't store it outside. That makes the plastic fade.

the red on the flames is fading out pretty good..and thats from riding pretty much...couse it's always been stored .in a garage and now in a shed....it's been open to the elements couse neither have doors' on em'...but it's holdin' out pretty good....same color red plastic as my freinds 00' 400ex.....and yeah his red seat is fading pretty good....he tries to keep it under a tarp but he goes out of town alot and the wind blows it off...i try and stop by everynow an' then to check on it and re-cover it for him....
