I get a slight vibration in the bike that i feel through the handlebars when i hit high RPMs. What could this be. It started right after i had it at the dealer for its first service. Do you think that they adjusted the valves wrong and that is causing this or is it something else. thanks for the help

does it sound like the engine rpms are goin up and down really fast... if it is then ur at ur rev limiter and u need to shift sooner...

Did you put Slime, or another puncture preventer in your tires?

This will do it.

thanks for the replys. No its not my rev limiter and I have no added any Slime to the tires. I can just feels a slight vibration in the handle bars when I ghet up in the RPMs. I was wondering if the valves being adjusted improperly would cause a vibration. I only started to feel this after i got it back from the dealer.

Mine does the same thing. I feel it through the bars. I put on some aluminum ones and it doesn't do it as much, but you can still feel it. All 400exers are vibraters

I really didn't notice it until after it came back from the dealer and thats why i thought maybe the didn't adjust the valves to the correct specs. I guess if its normal then I'll just have to get used to it. thanks

Mine does it too! You would think they could balance it to be smooth!

I think you started feeling it once you got it back from the dealer because you don't get it in the high rpms during breakin.
