help with losing the chian on raptor

somebody please help my friend we r trying to change the sporkets on his raptor and we can't figure out how to losing the chain

Its easy on the 400ex's but if its anything like the Blaster than it will be tough, best thing to do is get a owners manual, I hate picking them up, but they give you great instructions....
