I am in the middle of my winter rebuild right now and im stuck with plastic. I am probably not going to go with the maier race 400ex plastic b/c i want a hood for it. My plans are getting the stock styled maier 400ex plastic (with the headlight mounts) and cutting the mounts off and mounting a quadtech hood on it. My question is will the 250R hood fit the maier standard 400 plastic? Or would the 400ex hood fit better? thanks for your help.

250R hood is all I ever used.

400ex hood may fit better but 250r hood will look twice as good.
