hey, i'm new here. but need some help. How often and how do you grease axel bearings?? i do ride in some water, so sooner or later i have to do it, but don't know how. thanks

I would say about once or twice a year. Don't forget the swingarm pivot bolt while you're at it. Water is the worst thing for your bearings so maybe twice a year would be a good idea if you are in it that much.
arent the stock 300ex's sealed bearings..my 400ex they were? :confused: :confused:

Your 300ex has sealed bearings. You just replace them when they wear out, you can get them for $19 plus shipping on Ebay. The only way I've ever heard of greasing sealed bearings is by using a needle and syringe filled with grease. I've never tried it so I don't know how well it works.

Yeah thats where everyone messes up..The carrier needs to be packed full of grease around the bearings to keep mud and water out and the bearings will last much longer.
