175 on the main jet sounds extremely rich, usually with a pipe people go up to a 152 or 155. You dont have to change your pilot, thats for stuff the pipe doesnt affect too much, if at all.

What toby said........The pipe companies allways tell you to jet to rich [to be on the safe side] but the 175 will be to rich....try a 155 & check the plug, worked for me......

Just order a 155 main......you don't need the whole jet kit.

sorry for all the questions but whats the jet kit actually do?

it is a series of jets...like 158 160 162 165...etc...and sometimes a needle...and it has a instruction book on how to jet your bike and stuff...its a waste of money because u can buy the jets seperatly for like $1-$3...instead of spending almost $40 or $50 on the jet kit

i did the same fricken thing... i ordered 175 180 and 185 mains for my hmf slip on because thats what was recomended and i didnt research enough. im just going to order 152-160 mains. i got a 42 pilot jet because it helps the 400 start better in the cold weather but you dont need it
