I have a few pictures of our family/friends hot rods that they built themself's but i am unable to post pictures (can't figure that out yet). If i scan them can someone post them for me?

Here's one of my husbands graduation present, but now the paint is switched around (NO he didn't do it) so it's tourquoise on top & white on bottom w/ a white top poor thing just sits in the garage, someday when the kids are gone maybe he will be able to restore it to the fullest but it is still nice looking as it sits & it does run.........................................

Thanks everyone! It has a 350 with fuelie heads, fairly radical cam, 10 1/2-1 pistons and 3 dueces on top. A B&M t-350 trans and I've got a ford 9'' in back.

TRXMAN where are you from in Ontario???? cuz i think ive seen your car at a car show before . We just finished a 69 Cuda 340 this past summer I'd post pics but I can't I guess since I didn't buy a membership. You can also look on www.cardomain.com for the user Quad18star or look under 69 Nova for " pro street nova" as i title . I posted a pic of out 69 Nova 454 that we had . Its yellow with purple flames.

isnt much of a hot rod right now but it will be when i get all the stuff i want on it sorry no pics but its a 86 iroc z-28 305 5 speed with a holley 650 carb right now but hopefully in the near future it will have a set of crager ss rims posi rear end with a set of 4:11 in it flow master cat back and a set of hooker headers

Man, you and I keep having more in common than I think. I've got a 66 Fairlane that looks identical to yours. You wouldn't happen to live around Flat Rock or work at the Flat Rock AAI Mazda plant would you? Sorry man, but I live in standish. My dad has had that one for about 10 years now. About 5 years ago we hit an escort in the front end. She pulled too far into an intersection by an overpass, my dad locked them up and couldn't get stopped in time. We fixed it back to stock trim, with matching number parts, had the 390 rebuilt and bored to 396 and a nice street cam put in. Found a set of magnum 500 wheels to put on it and redid those. It's about 90% stock inside and out. I love that car! I'll try to find some other pics and post them.

TRXMAN I think Ive seen it at the Oshawa show .... car looks sick . I think my old man is gunna hit up most of the big shows this year . The car should take a few trophies its mint right now .

In Florida there is plenty of gator's, rattlesnakes and water mocasin's ...we call em' cottonmouth's because when their mouth is open it look's like it full of cotton:p ..........take care

I started out in meter reading at Allegheny... the hand held units(HHU) we carried to enter readings, when you bring up an account, it would beep and give you a note on any hazards someone else encountered. After a while, you tend to disregard them, they can be outdated. Well one time as I'm walking up to the meter, it beeped, and the screen said 'snakes in area'. I disregarded, went to the next screen not paying attention where I'm walking. I happen to look down and right at my feet was a big ole black snake stretched out, scared the sh*t outta me! :eek2: Glad I didn't have alligators, rattlesnakes and cottonmouth to contend with, dogs were bad enough. And irate customers as I shut their service off for non-payment!

my family has always been big on the street rods... however there is a difference between a "street rod" and a "hot rod"... some shows like the frog follies around here, you cant bring a "hot rod."

street rod- anything made before 1945 if im not mistaken
hot rod - anything made after 1945

jus thought id clear that up !!! lol
