what do you guys do with that leather(looking) black thing that covers the battery on the 400's. im thinking of taking it off, since it kinda gets in the way at times. whats ur opinion on this, and what other stuff could i take off to make things easier to work on and stuff?

i think i would leave it on. Your are talkin about that thing that goes over the top of the battery right?

LOL, that thing is pretty useless. Mine didnt have it when i bought the quad :D

I use this cover on my bike.....looks ALOT better than stock.

Leave it on! I adjusted mine so it provided a little better coverage. It helps keep water and crud out of some of the electrical stuff.

That box that CHAUNCY posted sure looks nice.
