Lets go from the start-----I blew my 400 up a while back, it seized the piston so tight it ripped the sleeve from the cylinder and it left a nice scar on the bottom case!!! OUCH... My problem is this, after rebuilding it, I raced one time, wrecked it, and now I have a rattling sound in the engine. Sounds like somethin rattling around. Yes I flushed it out-- Could it possibly be that when she seized it stretched my timing chain, and its makin the noise???? I've been told by a few people that I may have put my tentioner on wrong. Does anyone know the right way to put that contraption back on. I just put the two top bolts on the put the phillips head back in there. No screwdriver in and popping or whatever........
