Hey all,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a FCR from C & D. I used to race/ride sport bikes and know that when you put flat slides on them, it was HIGHLY recommeded that you go with a push/pull throttle setup vs a single cable. I realize that this is one carb vs 2 or 4, but I would assume that it still would be beneficial to have a push/pull setup (easier on the thumb or hand). Don't even know if anybody makes a push/push thumb throttle... The main reason that I'm asking is that I just purchased a twist push/pull setup off of Ebay Link--> Click Me (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43979&item=2446386319) and hopefully didn't waste my money (pretty cheap for a push/pull setup though).

Thanks!

You did just fine that is the correct throttle for the fcr:). If you want to use a thumb throttle it is a single cable only.

Push Pull is the way to go (in many ways) :D (thats how edelbrocks twist throttle is and I love it)
