Alright someone ordered me a-arms for my 400 for x-mas but my question is they ordered +2 +1 instead of +2 +0. Can someone please tell me how much different its gonna be and do i want to just send them back and have the right ones sent out when they get here? Or are these gonna be fine and i should just use them

Your front end will be more controllable and less prone to unexpected wheelies. Now it will wheelie when you want to and stay planted when you don't.
I would also recommend a +1+1 axle at some point because you will have a little understeer or push in the front without it.
I have +3+1 and am waiting for my axle, and the push is more prominent, but I got used to it and don't really think about it till I ride my dad's with the axle.

You really don't need the +1 forward on a 400ex like you do on a 250R..

I've never ran a +2 / +1 but i heard it makes it handle like a turd...

I had +3+1 a-arms before i got an extended swingarm for a while - it was OK - I did notice after I got a +1 swinger that it flew really nice and level in the air. I think you would be OK with the +1's up front if you ever planned on getting a +1 swingarm (and the +2 is great for whoops and stuff....I really liked that setup) - but if you don't plan on going longer in the back then it's probably worth your trouble to get the +0's.........
