Ok, you guys that got yours on December the 8th, Let's see some pics!!:blah: I was wondering how everyone picked theirs up on the 8th being that most Honda dealers are closed on Mondays!!:rolleyes:

Hey, for one thing we are getting it in the 16 if everything goes as planned......my local shop was one of the first people to order one.....we are first in line and then there are about 10 toehr guys behind us.........and i will post pics as soon as it get's here

That isn't how it works.

I had a deposit down in June, you think I will be the first to get one in the U.S.? no.

All the dealers are gonna get a unit, then it will be by dealer size per allocation.

Everybody ordered their 450R's at or right after the dealer show in Vegas.

Honda computers are showing a Dec. 31 ship date, seen it with my own eyes. Point of origin - Virginia. The 31st is a half work day at that plant.

There might be a couple in cali. that the mags or aftermarket companies have gotten to do reports on or to build aftermarket parts for but there NOONE in cali has bought one from a dealer.

this is getting funny, it is unbelievable how many dealers have no clue what is going on, and i wonder where some people get their rediculous info from. no one is getting a 450r this week so stop it already

The reason you think dealers don't know is because they F*** around too much and try to get your buisness by lieing. I hate salesmen they tried charging me $7600 for one when they said it was $7000.:mad:

My uncle just got back from Hawaii and they had one in the dealership there, however i am not to sure if they are actually for sale or not, maybe just a floor model.

My dealers got one comin on the 31 of december. He gets one a month. Hopefully the guy who has his comin in december wont want it(didnt put any $ down) so i can get his. Otherwise i gotta wait till january. Also, he said he ordered 10 of em and hes only gettin five. Dont know about that.

There is not one in Hawaii.

There are a few in California. They are factory final prototypes. They have no VIN's.

THEY ARE IN THE HANDS OF THE AFRTERMARKET COMPANIES LIKE AC WHO ARE FITTING THE 450R WITH THEIR PRODUCTS.

You can bet Honda doesn't mind having the guys from AC take the 450R out to Glamis and be seen on it.

The bike will show up in the southeast first then spread out from there. The parts are being shipped into the states and then it is assembled here to avoid import taxation.

My dealer said he was getting two this month. Then I called him and he said they were coming in on the 31st just like everyone else. Now I am wondering if he is still getting two because i got the second one. I hope he does cause i am sick of waiting for the damn thing!!

If you are getting the second one then you will probably be waiting until Jan 8th. Every dealer is ONLY getting ONE unit in Dec. Last I heard the second shipment is supposed to still be arriveing on time on Jan. 8th.

From the looks of those large evergreen trees [Pinyon Juniper?]in the background it would appear you are in Texas or New Mexico.

Is that your quad or some promo quad?

I'm an editor for atvsource. WE went down to texas for the press release of the tr450r. Only 16 people across the US were invited.

It was a blast!!

We were at Lake Whitney MX track in Hillsboro Tx.

Your dealer got back into town from vacation and gave me a call. He asked me to tell you that Honda will be shipping your quad on the 28th of Jan. You should be able to pick it up on the 31st. ;)
