You don't have to race either...but what would you rather do? or if you do race....which do you do?

I race mx and I don't think I could even try xc. I have a lot of respect for those guys. I went to a pro xc race and I was amazed how fast they went through those woods. I think it takes more balls to xc than mx. I run mx because I think it is very exciting and I like competing right next to the others.

Heck, racing in general is just a freaking blast!:D

I get my butt kicked in MX but I like to jump. I'm 33yrs 6'1" 270lbs so I only do a little MX for fun. I run mid-pack in D23 XC beating guys a lot younger and smaller than me in those 2-hours.
For me, I think XC is more of a test of will than skill.
MX is very cool though.

i race mx and xc and like xc a bit more..mx involves too much watiting around for motos and not enough riding..i do love to jump though and the short rush is great..personally i feel xc fits my riding style more becuz i love to go fast thorugh the woods and you get alot more riding than in mx..the longer u can ride the better!

MX Baby!!!! Although I still enjot xc racing. But there's nothing like jumping double's on a mx track and bangin bars with someone else!

I like XC I was born to ride in the woods. Thats were i do all most all of my riding. Theres just nuthing like being out there in the woods with all of you buddys just trying to keep up with every body they are on you chassing them and they are chaccing you. Know thats a blast.
