The Dale is more of a race quad than the Z, so pick wich one you will be doing more of. Dale for racing and Z for trails.

it all depends on the amount of matience you really want to do the dale has a ton of matience compaired to the z400 but both of them would be a good chocie. It all depends on how much money you want to spend :)

what do you mean by a ton of maintanence? I was going to get one for trail riding. the z400's frames are weak.

Cannondale takes no more maintance than any other race quad. Actually much less than my old 250R's

The maintanence isn't that bad on the Cannondales. The z frames are supposed to be beefed up a little now. If you are riding trails mostly, the z would be good for you. It is plenty fast, has reverse, and adapts to mods pretty well if you decide you want some speed. The Dales are going for pretty cheap right now if you are interested in those. We like to seem them raced though. Afterall, that is what they are made for!:blah: :macho
