Occasional clicking/ticking noise

I've got a 03 400 which is about 3 months old. Runs great, but occasionally during the warm up period I hear a somewhat loud tick or click coming from the head. Do you think it's a simple valve adjustment or something more serious? I also have a 02 400 which has never made this sound. hmmm.... Some advice would be greatly appreciated. :D

mines dont that for a couple seconds then stops when i warm it up. i dont know what it is.:confused:

Check your valves. My motor makes a noise coming from head of the motor on the pipe side. It still has full power and doesn't smoke but i wonder what it is from. I was thinking it could be the cam chain?

Yeah...I'm going to adjust the valves this weekend maybe that'll do it?
