Oil filter cover help

Will the oil filter cap from a 350x fit on a 250x?

You would have to check it, but probably so.

My 86'250sx three wheeler & my 99'400ex both take the same oil filter, & the covers look the same.

Never tried to switch them though.

Looking at mail order catalogs, virtually all honda 4 strokes use the same oil filter, covers should be similar, but no way to know but to try it.

The reason I ask is I have a 350x oil cooler and guard and was wondering if I bought a set of lines and oil filter cover would it bolt right up?

Has anyone ever done this or know if it can be done.
I only have 10 dollars in the cooler and guard so if it would work it would be a very cheap oil cooling system for my x.
