450r in 400ex frame

was talking to a friend i know and hes got a 450r dirtbike motor that he'll let go for cheap. will it be a lot of work to retrofit it into a 400ex frame?

yes it can be done, you need to custome fabricate some motor mounts and make a custome middle section to connect the header to the exhaust. and rig up some kind of custom in take. I cant really go in to details on these i just know it can be done, but there is a couple of guys that have done it already done it on this site I am sure they can tell you much much more.
