I wasn't planning on it - but after running last weekend I'm thinking about it now. I'm waiting to hear if any of the kentuckyriders.com crew is up for making the trip down.

Anyone raced here before? What's it like?

I live 15 minutes from the place ill be on a red 400ex with a custom aluminum front bumper in the B class. The last 2 years the track has lots of hills and hollers gets real slick..I havnt heard how long the track is yet but the weatherman says high of 39* and snow for sunday. Ill post a picture of my 400 that way I can meet some of you guys.

I have not ran a Mid South, are they set up like the GNCC's? What classes do they run?

remlapr

They are shorter - 1.5 hours and the courses are tighter. Go to msws.org to look at the classes.

Anybody know the best way to go to get there coming from the North? Jeff - how are you going to go? I checked Mapquest and it has me driving through half the two lane roads in middle KY and TN to get there

Question #2: on the website it just say's quads start at 2pm, but is that always 2pm Central? 2pm local? I know last week it was 2pm Central/3pm Eastern - which was 2p local I think....

It says to take TN-51 to TN-52 to TN-111 to TN-84. And those are just the state roads on the TN side :eek2:

The website and fliers are always listed as central time.

This was my first Mid-South race and this was my first ever race on a sport bike, I raced Braff1 400ex that is for sale and it s sweet bike, I had a blast it was a little frustrating from me to remember that was I was on a sport bike and not a ute with 4-wheel drive. I had a blast and my goal was to finish and I ended up getitng 6th in beginner class. I am ready to go back there were some VERY fast sections of the track.

Congrats guys!!!! That was a fun track, the hills were a blast. All the pros got stuck on a big hill on the first lap for about 10 minutes. By the time I got going again, half the B class had already got around us. Made for a long day of passing!

Holeshot....what happened to Santo, did he not get his bike put together in time?

but the next closest one is 7 hours away.

That one was a 7 hour drive for me, but well worth it. I had a great time and loved the track. To bad I am not a very good racer, I think it would have been a bit more fun if I didn't get my *** handed to me.

When are you gonna drag Santo out to a MS?

Why you so hung up on santa are you sucking up to get good christmas presents?

He needs to get off his but and do something with that brand new stock quad he has had sitting in his garage for a month now. I know he is waiting on parts to get it ready, But lot's of people ride them stock.

I got 9th in the 16-24 B class. The MS series has a lot of great riders! Plus, I don't think I ever went more than 2 miles without making some stupid mistake. I tried to get Santo to come, but he was already committed to running a race in Georgia on Saturday and he didn't want to do a Sunday race too. By the way, he lost to a 400EX!

I was one of the B class that was stuck with you on that hill. By the time I got turned around and removed from a tree the beginner class had come around me. I think this race was more the one who could get unstuck the fastest was going to be the winner.

I guess I will be looking at Lasic eye surgery if this ***** keeps up. Glasses fogged up even with No Fog coating on them, then they got muddy (don't know how that happened). so again I goe to do another Ray Charles racin through the woods. Sorry for the people that tried to follow me. lol
