need an exhaust clamp for T-4

need the exhaust clamp for a slip-on T-4 for a 400ex. anyone know where to find one cheap?

You mean the one that goes on the headpipe? If so one is not needed the slip-on is O-ringed and makes a good enough seal.

I ran into the problem with the T4 slip fit. In only a couple of rides the oring would wear out. I even got the good high temp orings, but no luck. I ended up useing some high temp turbo hose and used that around the fitting and tightened it with a hose clamp. It worked but another thought would be to have the end of the T4 machined out and use a section of the turbo hose between it and the headpipe.

so the T-4 just slips on without any kind of external metal clamp? thats crap! guess its time for some more hose clamps and radiator hose. :rolleyes:

Yup it just slips on with an O-Ring thats it. Pretty ****ty design if you ask me...
