head gasket w/ a 440

I went to finish up my 440 and i put on an oem head gasket on and it overhangs around the cylinder by about 1mm all the way around the cylender. The piston is an 88.5mm. Is it ok for the for the gasket to overhang or will it mess up the combustion chamber? If I do need replace the head gasket, where can I get one for my size cylinder(88.5mm) Wpuld marcum's carry it? Thanks

I bought an oversize head gasket from Wiseco when I built my 416 (87mm). It was a Cometic gasket. Should be readily available.
