QJ, I have really gotten into racing XC and the width and weight of the predator is killing me. The power, speed, and handling (for a stock set up) is awesome, could not ask for anything better. When trying to weave through the trees it is difficult for the Predator. In the majority of my races I have been in the top 3 coming out of the hole http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid91/p69163f499c9154d1de890132020a4934/fa5a5d0a.jpg This is a pic from the last race, how is that for a holeshot. The xtra ground clearance helps the predator in the mud but when it gets stuck the overall weight makes it difficult for one person to get out by themself. I would like to get a cannondale to race and just keep the predator for trail riding etc.

I can relate to getting the Predator stuck..Especally wehn trying to lift its heavy rear end:eek2: :o :p funy thing is , we both weighed our quads during race and with a little mud on each one, mine weighed in at 411:eek: and his at 440...Not much difference.. I was TOTALLY surprised in that weight! I need to re weigh it clean to see if mine needs to go on a diet!:p

QJ, ask Troy (I think that is your Man's name) if he thinks the problem in moving the back end has to do with how high the back end sits up. I have flipped my grab bar over but it still comes up above the waist just to slide it around in the garage. One of my friends does metaf fab work and I was thinking about trying to rig up a bracket to put a PRM bumper on the rear mounted lower down to help with lifting.

I have seen that bumper. I would like something like the PRM bumpers that go across the back but sits lower. Thanks for showing me the pic.
