I have seen only 1 kit available for my 300ex, and was wondering if you had any input. I see that profabatv includes an oil cooler with *almost* all their "x" kits, but after searching I can't find any more info on that kit either (I should probably call them up, I know). If there are different kits, what are their price ranges?

Profab sells Jagg coolers-$199
Four Stroke Tech sells their own version of a PermaCool cooler-$100

I have a FST cooler but haven't installed it yet. It came with all the lines, fittings, etc as a kit. Looks like it will cool really well. I just didn't want to pay for a $200 Jagg cooler when a oil cooler wasn't even necessary for my 330 kit.

I think a oil cooler is necessary for a machine that gets ridden hard and revved up a lot, but that my Opinion. Does the Jagg kit include all the fittings? From the kit I saw a while back it used pluming via the oil filter cap.

Can I ask how much you paid (estimate) and how the oil lines were plumbed in/out of the cooler?
