yea i saw that one, yea well that sucks about ozzy, they definatly should wear helmets too. alot of people get hurt on ATV's, just like anything else, there never going to be able to ban them, so dont even worry about that.

What was ozzy on a quad for anyway, he can barely hold a glass of water much less the handlebars of a quad. He prolly ran into the garage door trying to get the quad out.

The sad thing is that he probably doesn't even remember it happening.

12-08-2003, 10:03 PM
I know this is kind of off-tobic but I thought this was hilarious. any way on viva la bam One of bams friends called Compten @$$ terry and he was ripping around with a foreman and he slammed into a parked bmw and he wasnt wearing a helmet. It was pretty funny because all you could see is his legs flying as he wentt over the handlebars.

it was an audi that terry hit!

I saw it. Didn't Jack hit a tree?
The other guy was the one that Ozzy and Sharon adopted when the kids mom died from the same form of cancer Sharon has.

Isn't he sueing his doctors for giving him pills, he said he was hopped up on pills during the whole ozzy osborn show. Yeah thats just great. Make a show about a guy that is toasted so you can laugh at him. :(

Granted, Ozzy has drank and taken way to many drugs. However, during the taping of the Osbournes, he was taking up to 42 Valium a day whch was prescribed by his doctor. Do you know what taking 42 Valium in 1 day can do to you? If it was anyone else, they would have been laid up in a hospital b/c they do not know how to handle that much of a powerful drug. There is a lawsuit now against his doctor.

Ozzy kicks ***! However, he was probably being a jackhole when he wrecked but inexperienced riders get hurt very frequently on ATV's...am I right?

Adam-
It's one thing when a responsible rider in full riding gear crashes and gets hurt, we have compassion for those people. It's completely different when an irresponsible, uncoordinated, drugged up individual with no safety gear on crashes and gets hurt and makes the news. You naturally have to hate that guy because he's making your sport look bad because he's an idiot and doesn't represent the majority. So we're not really out of line with the negative comments here.

i dont hate the guy, if you choose not to wear a helmet i think that is your business. i dont feel that makes our sport look bad, i think it makes the individual look bad. you all act like the U.S. can do anything and ban ATVS, with how many people are into this sport theres no way in hell itll ever happen. i never have wore riding gear or boots in the 5 years ive ridden quads. ive never been hurt besides knocking the wind outta me. i choose not to wear my helmet sometimes when i mess around. that doesnt make the sport look bad, that makes the individual look bad. In My Opinion, i dont want to hear any flames.

Yea, not wearing a helmet was your own business until people found out that they could sue everyone in sight for their own stupidity and win. Even if they didn't, there are lawyers using the statistics those individuals helped to create to form cases against these manufacturers, hoping to win big. I agree that the individual SHOULD be the only one punished for his or her own action, but with the media the way it is today, they often are not isolated like that. There are too many easily persuaded people around now that turn on the TV and form their opinions around its biased information, which leads to the tree-hugging groups and the anti-everything fun groups . Were you around for the big anti-ATV campaign in the 80's? The fact is that individuals can, and do, make our sport look bad, even if they don't mean to, because of their irresponsibility. We're already on thin ice here, we don't need this kind of media attention as well. And about the U.S. not being able to ban ATV's, what ever happened to 3-wheelers? And even if they didn't ban ATV's, they could put enough restrictions on us again to send the sport back into hibernation for another fifteen years. Lets all just be more responsible and help our sport grow.

Whats up your *****?????????? I like Ozzy but him being as popular as he is and all the attention that this is getting is not good for or sport.people already think that quads are dangerous and this is just fueling the fire....................when he's able he should state that his incompetence on the quad is what caused the wreck not the quad...you have people that think that guns kill people and guns should be outlawed, when it is not guns that kill it is stupid people with guns that kill people!!! and stupid people on quads give quads a bad name:mad:
