What do you guys think is more important? I can only afford one of the two right now, but eventually plan on getting both and then a-arm guards. I dont usually ride in rocky conditions my stock swingarm skid is dented and smashed in a couple places though....and what brands would you recommend for normal all around riding? please respond ASAP I need to order by this weekend.

Swingarm skid for sure! I've dented and bent the stocker so much it doesn't even look like that's what it is. I haven't hit my frame on anything yet just the tailgate of my truck when I drop it down. I would get the swingarm skid first.

really? I was kinda thinkin that I should go with the engine skid because there isn't really anything there to protect it. The stock swingarm skid is pathetic, but its more protected than the engine. I really have no idea which is more important though..., I am just curious, why do you think that the swingarm skid should be first?

The swingarm skid takes a lot more abuse than the frame would.

The swing arm is the lowest part of the quad, it will get hit before the engine will. The frame helps protect the motor along with that little piece of plastic.

I recommend PRM:)

Check with C&D Racing, I think they offer free shipping on PRM products.

I have seen many different brands of swingarms skids and the PRM is beefy and well made.
