What offset

I plan on getting some new hipers for my 400 what offset should i be getting?

for jus general trail riding w/ stock a-arms, go with a 3+2, it will make your quad an inch wider. if you have anything besides stock arms, or plan on getting aftermarket ones, go with a 4+1.

With a 4 +1 nothing will break or snap while riding. And yes i plan on having +2 a-arms. And can someone explain what the numbers mean. And any other input is appreciated thanks.

the 1st number is the inside measure ment and the second number is the outside measurement
so a 4+1 is 4" on the inside and 1" on the outside.

id get the 3+2 if ur only getting +2s, the 4+1 is for people with +3s to stay under the 50''s and definitly avoid 2+3

Wait not im confused which gives you the wider stance...the 3 + 2 or the 4 + 1?

3+2 gives you a wider stance, but produces more bump-steer and more stress on teh upper a arm and spindle.

what kind of offselt do i want for the real axle?

Can someone explain the whole offset thing to me? Is it just the wheel.....like the part that goes towars the bike might be 2" and the part that faces away is 3"? if it was a 2+3 offset?

The first number is the inside measurement and the second is the outside measurement. So what you described would be correct 2+3
