yeah the t-9 bajas are bead lock i thnk but whats the diff between the hipers with the intergrated hub and the regular ones. is it even worth it so someone is not really racing just out there having a good time
worth it?
how bout putting it this way.
if you ever bend that aluminum is it gonna be straight ever again?
youll probably have to buy a new rim again right?
so i guess there goes your "savings";)
do it right the first time

I too highly recommend the HiPer rims over the aluminum rims, especially on the terrain around us.
I have both the aluminum beadlocks and the HiPers. I think the aluminum ones look better, but I think the HiPers perform better. I have had to bend back the aluminum ones, and they are still not "true", but I have had no troubles to date with my HiPers. I think I may need to replace the outside rings in the near future, they seem to get chucks of the ring removed if you hit an obstacle, where the aluminum rings on the aluminum rims bend.
The HiPers come with a one year warranty!:macho
