400ex maier hood on 300ex

well since the fullbores for the 300ex are way to expensive this looks like the next best thing so is it hard to do will it work with the 300ex seat and rear fenders any other info. is good too

well..i know that the rear 400ex plastic goes right to the 300ex with out any modifications (i believe so atleast). And the front you have to relocate all mounting positions.

Not exactly, with the back plastic u have pretty much need to get a 400ex seat also, then u have to cut off the plastic hooks on the bottom of the seat or modify them. If u cut them off u then have to figure out a way too keep the seat snug to the gas tank or the hole back plastic will just be held down with the seat latch, which doesnt work. And the exhaust melts to big ol holes in the plastic so figure out a way to keep that from happenin.

When i had a 300ex i hated the maier on it, so i got some stock 99 plastic. The red and black actually looks pretty sweet, even better race cut.
