Need info on ac racing pro pegs

my question is, i can get a real good deal on some new pro pegs but what iam concerned about is how fast does the aluminum peg wear out? have any of you experienced this? also i have heard that there is a replacement part you can get for the pegs after they wear down and install over the pegs. if this is true do any of you know wear to purchase them. thanks

man i really want to see them pics but they wont open up for me. do they you. i get a little box with a x on it. how do you look at them this way?

had em for 2 months this was em on the 1st day, i ride very hard, no signs of wear yet. (knock on wood):blah:

they wore way too fast for my taste. go with standard nerfs.
