I can't wait to hit it tomorow :D :D

I took my utility quad and plowed all of the snow on my driveway into a big pile and shaped it with a shovel. Its about 4-5 feet tall and 10-15 feet long, and about 5 feet wide. It's gonna be sick.

Are you gonna flat land that?

No, the landing is going to be a downslope that is about 15 feet after the jump, so it is going to be like a step down. You can't see it in the pics, but in the third picture you can see a tree to the left of the jump. The downslope starts there.

:blah:

Either way it's gonna hurt on stock suspension. Plus I only have about 20 feet to stop (basically need to start braking as soon as I land) so I don't hit a tree.

lol, I'm just that special. :D

I never measured the jump with a tape, I just eye balled it. I know it's half on my driveway, and half on the lawn, so there is like a 6-8" change there. The shovels were on the driveway, and when I eye balled it I was standing in the grass next to the jump. I was just guessing at 4-5'

I need to throw some ice melt on the driveway though, because in order to hit it I need to start by my garage, make a 90 degree turn and aim for the jump. Problem is my driveway is a sheet of ice so I keep spinning out when I make the turn. (I just was out riding so I tried hitting it)

And to make you guys happy I'll measure it tomorow, lol.

Pictures/Videos (quicktime)

I hit it about 10 times today. It sucks, lol. One side of the lip is messed up so it kicks the quad real bad, and I almost wrecked a few times (rode it out ever time though, missed a tree by an inch - literally). Plus that turn before is icy so I have to idle up to the lip then snap it, so I can't get the speed to really clear it. I'll work on it next snow storm though, it has potential, lol.

thats pretty cool. i had a jump in my yard about 4 1/2 ft. tall and only jumped it once. the first time i went up it i nose dived and was too afraid to jump it. i would try to jump it again but my dad tore it down. i have a pic of it but i cant scan it.
