Make sure you slid it al the way in to where the sprocket hub slides into the carrier, if you still dont have enough room, spin the locknut tight until it pushes the brake hub over enough to expose the thread, then line it up and tighten the lock nut, but dont do it to tight, just snug

you can't put it through the other way??? the sprocket hub is there, and doesn't it have to be installed left to right facing the rear of the quad???
i don't think this axle fits the 400ex or the stock housing??

have you backed that nut off all the way
if not it will not go on
i've put 4 of these axles in and no problems
did you put new bearings in? if so are they tight together in the housing

everything is good, the stock axle fits in no problems. the x-33 axle will not slid in far enough. it needs like 1 more inch, but will not go. i tryed taping it in with a malit, but no luck. thebrake hub will fit, but there is not enough room for the lock nut sleve to grab the spindals.
i'm go'n nuts over this?????!!!!!!
When I installed my Lonestar axle I had to use a piece of wood and a hammer, pounded it in. the narrow part of the sprocket hug actually goes into the carrier.

Why don't you hold your durablue axle up against your stock axle. Then you will know that the distances between the sprocket hub and rotor hub splines are the same distance apart.
