when you rev and you rev above what is needed to get more power cause a 2-stroke makes its power in the high rpm area so you over-rev to get power...............

Every engine has a 'redline'... That''s the RPM at which if you go above it, you may cause damage to the engine. Some 4-stroke engines have the rev limiter set conservatively lower from the factory to protect the engine. When you do some engine work, the engine can continue to make power at a higher rpm, so you can get an aftermarket "Black box" to raise the rev limiter setting.

But like for dirtbikes, I hear they over rev easy while sitting there warming up? I dunno..maybe im thinking of something else

The only reason it stoped because its seized from lack of coolant because the radiator cap wasnt on :devil:
