Depends on what you want, the yamaha IS faster (More high rpm pull and peak power)

The honda handles better, and has more plush suspension. The yammy motor has proven to be reliable (if the owner has common sense) but the honda is new.

Like he said, all of the new high performance thumpers need regular maintenence to last. After all They aren't old air cooled 20 some hp motors, with low compression ratios ect.

Some of this "All yamaha's are unreliable" stuff can just sound so retarded. But this is a honda sight, so it is expected.

Yz 400's 426's and 450's have thus far always had reliable motors, and crf's have head and valve spring issues. As well as owners cooking the motors due to impropper oil changes.

Are you going to race mx, or trail ride it? More info is needed:confused:

you know its true though biohazard...;) ............ i would say if you plan on racing then get the yamaha & if you plan on using it for personal use like trail riding & stuff get the honda...if you rode both of these bikes right after each other you couldn't probablby even tell the difference engine power wise unless you are a proffesional

the honda is kick start only, the yamaha is electric start, and a kick could be added. I think that wil have a major effect on sales, as quad buyer today don't want to kick a bike as much, all the new quads have electric start.
