Does anyone know how much the grand total would be after having someone put a 440ex kit on and everything that needs to be done to make it run good with it?

There is a huge range that you're dealing with. Just a simple "440" kit with a sleeve, piston, bore, and gaskets you can probably get away with about $500 or so, but a well built 416cc will eat you alive.

Throw a cam on top of that, the price goes up, but it depends if it's drop in or hardfaced cam. Any way you slice it, a cam is definitely worth the extra money.

If you do the other recomended items, complete port/valve job, carb mod, or new carb, clutch upgrade, you could run anywhere from $500 to over $2000, depending on how far you want to go.
