How much credit do I need

How much credit do i need to apply for a car loan for say 10 grand. I have made about $500 in payments on a loan but the other $1500 will be paid off by the tiem I apply for it. What you all think???

patience, you will get there when you own a home, vehicle, creditcards, and other loans. and have payed off high balanced loans and awesome credit history, "no late payment, bankrupcy, etc."wiat maybe till you are like 30-40.

1000 ?? not many people have over 720 !! I don't think anyone has 1000

A 1000 score is impossible ( I think). I deal with credit srores on a daily basis. The highest I have ever seen is a 856.
Usually 700 is considered a+
There is no loan you can get with a 800 you cant get with a 700.

yea i have no idea how this credit rating thing works, my friend told me that he paid off a $500 secured credit card and then qualified for one with a $5000 limit. I have to see what I can get
