help me get closure on this argument

today at school this IDIOT was trying to tell me those little mini crotch rocket pocket bike things can hit 155 mph. i told him most full sized crotch rockets get up to that speed. i told him it was physically impossible for a motor that small to get up to that kind of speed even if you had the right gearing. and even if you did have the right gearing your rear sprocket would have to be way bigger than the rear tire. i told him on ripleys the other night they just set the speed record on one of those and it only went 55mph and it was maxed out! i hate him he made me so mad. even his friends said he was wrong. i just wanna hear you guys tell me i'm right. or tell me i'm wrong if for some odd reason i am.

Ya you are right Juggalo, I met a kid that had a pretty nice 50 w/ a BB kit and stuff, and he said he was clocked at either 42, or 52. It was pretty powerful for a 50!:eek2:

no i seriousley can't stand this kid. he was talkin to my friends sister about her XR50 and hes all bragging to her like yeah i build bikes all the time. you should let me get that 50 i can make it so much faster blah blah blah. he claims he has a crotch rocket that he does wheelies for miles on and stuff. ugh he just angers me. today i asked him to explain to me at least some basic part about how an engine works and he couldn't do it. hes my friends cousin (my friends family hates this kid too) i think i'll just invite him out to our freestyle compound out there and show him a thing or two and then beat his *** until hes not a little lying peice of crap any more. sorry i just have so much anger this is like my number 1 pet peeve.

We had one of those little 50cc crotch rockets, street legal & all & it only went like 50-55mph
WE sold it a couple years ago now i kind of wish we wouldn't of LOL I would of like to try & ride it in the 50cc flattrack class LMFAO can you see it now a baby street bike out there.:p

David Meyer of Virginia Beach, VA makes it official.

The new land speed record for a pocketbike is 63.888MPH. Riding a 50cc minimoto built by F.F.Giannini of Giannini Racing with a 50cc custom barrel designed by Trevor Sellars of the United Kingdom breaks the existing record and goes over the 55MPH mark. The new engine design which included a Giannini Racing PVL digital ignition and a Giannini Racing custom built cylinder-head ran flawlessly through multiple runs down the one mile airport runway under the guidance of the ECTA personnel.

It's possible to get a little 50cc up to 155 mph. In fact it's not even that difficult, it's just expensive.

First, you have to charter an airplane. That's the expensive part. When you get up higher than 1000 ft. throw the bike out. Viola, 155mph. In fact, you'll probably get it to go even faster.

oh i got my revenge today, first i printed out a buncha stuff on them saying their speeds. second i printed out a conversation i had with a girl he asked out (who just happens to be crazy caseys sister) where she talks about him being a queer and ugly and stuff. then i waited for him to sit down by all his buddies in lunch showed him all the crap and made him feel like a real stupid *** in front of a ton of people. he admitted i was right and i don't think he'll be doin too much more talkin. feel a lot better now
