Whats the best way to clean the engine on a 400ex any chemicals work?

The best thing you can do is go ever it really well with a brush. IMO
i use engine cleaner & a wire brush after every ride...the engine cleaner also works well on the plastics, rims & everything & its really chea ptoo...like $0.75 for a large can at wal-mart ;)

Same thing I did last night, only w/ a brillo pad & sand paper in real bad spots, works real good! :D

My friend acid wash them for us and that really clean them good just watch for the seals and stuff.

go to autozone
and its in a black bottle i thinks its eagleone etching mag wheel cleaner, it works wonders or go to this website
www.mudanddirt.com and on the top right of the page there ia a review on this product, you spray it on let it set for like 30 se then spray off your flame will be so bright , motor also
works unbelieveable
i know of that crap..is has a bunch of ACID in it which is bad...i sued it once on mine & it stained my moter mounts a bleach white nasty color that wont ever go away. :mad:

works great for me
spray some on your engine mounts & let it soak for 30 seconds & tell me how gr8 it works ;)

Use an S.O.S pad. It works good on the engine cases and it makes nerfs and bumber look like new again!
