Whats the bast way to clean your engine to get it that bright silver again?

if you have access, a bead blaster would really do the trick

...in all honesty though, because the engine gets pretty hot, that stuff get almost baked on. You can try all kinds of "cleaners", but its gonna take come steel wool or a whire wheel to get it looking really perty.

You might want to try some aluminum wheel cleaner (the stuff for non-clear coated wheels). That stuff actually works pretty well on my truck wheels. Spray that on there and get a really rough cleaning bruch/scowering pad.
