I read in some sigs that they have modified stock carb or bored stock carb. what is the difference between getting the stock carb bored to a 38mm compared to a aftermarket 39mm. i dont have much money for new carb, does anyone recommend doing this?
Any info appreciated!

It will give you more power on the top end.
The aftermarket carb is alot better but for the money you can't go wrong with boring the stock one. Just make shore you jet it properly.

I have the sparks modified carb and like it a lot. Not as much power increase as FCR i'm sure but when your on a budget it will do the job...

Rocky Ridge racing does this for like $125 compared to sparks at $175

It's taken from a 35.5 mm to a 38. All the rough edges are taken away and the throttle push is sooooo much better over stock it's unreal...

I noticed more power from top to bottom with mine..
