How to adjust works shocks

Does anyone know how to adjust the Works Triple Rate Shocks. I know that the shocks have these small metal spacers but can you move those to stiffen the shocks alittle. If anyone knows how can they also show me picture by picture or explain it very well.

I helped adjust them on my friends' Banshee. You need to compress the shock a little so the cap above the spring can move down to expose a clip that is in the grooves. We loosened his because his was too stiff.
