winter project

i was thinkin of tearin my quad down to the bone for this winter,although my dad has many objections about it.he said that ther is no need for all of this "stuff" that i wanna do he says.Do you really think i should powdercoat my frame>does it really make it that much better,and how bout the engine,im thinkin mayb a simple 305 bore kit for now,and mayb some new a-arms and shocks,u think that is good enuf,and if u wood,do ne of you have some good reasons that i can tell my dad for me to let me do this stuff,and it is for a 300ex.Thankz alot guys and please help me out here

and how much wood it generaly cost for a glossy candle apple red frame to be pc'd?any1 dat has a frame this color can u please tell me the price u paid
