how the hell do i get the damn **** off!
Theres the little plastic "rivit" type things.... do i cut these off? or what ?

I use a screwdriver, there are two 'slots' in each one. Stick the screwdriver in and twist.

yep, flathead screwdriver is the only thing that works for me. At the honda dealership i go to, the guy has an actual tool for takin them off. I think i am going to make somethin, because i hate f'king them up everytime i neeed to take of my side panels or front fenders.

o god, i figured this out when i was 12, and removing the plastic from a recon is much harder than a 400ex.:huh

400ex plastic is the easiest to get off the frame, trying getting z400 plastic off or blaster, wow takes double as long as the ex.

just use two flat blade screw drivers and put them into the two slot on the top part of the rivet, and just pull it out and bang you got one out...

Really?! Ask him where he got it. Then buy one and tell me where to get one. We have simmilar style fasteners on Honda and Acura cars and SUV's. There a pain in the arse to remove though not easy like the ones on the quads.
